Amazing authors in a friendly & welcoming atmosphere!
I have now attended two Sugarpages events, and both have been fantastic experiences for different reasons.
The Cardiff event was wonderfully chaotic in the best possible way. I had the chance to meet and chat with so many authors I hadn't discovered before, and I'm incredibly grateful for those introductions. My TBR grew considerably, but it was absolutely worth it!
The Bristol event was a little quieter as it took place during Pride, but that certainly didn't take away from the experience. There was still a steady stream of visitors throughout the day. I loved seeing some familiar authors again and catching up with them about the books I'd bought previously, while also meeting plenty of new authors who were just as welcoming and passionate about their work.
These events offer so much more than just book signings. From engaging author talks to exciting raffles, there's always something happening. Watching Raven share the behind-the-scenes planning on social media has also given me a real appreciation for just how much time, effort, and dedication goes into making each event such a success.
I'll definitely be attending as many Sugarpages events as I possibly can, and I can't recommend them highly enough to anyone who loves books and wants the opportunity to connect with amazing authors in such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere

This was another fantastic bookish day out, and despite it being as warm as a demon's armpit outside, chatting to the indie authors in attendance and topping up my TBR took my mind off the heat
It was lovely to catch up with authors I'd met at the Cardiff event, meeting new faces, and picking up an impressive number of new reads!

We had an absolutely incredible day at this event. The various tables whether it was authors or venders was amazing. Everyone enjoyed the day. Meeting so many new readers is the highlight of any event and I felt the readers who visited my table were brilliant, engaging and welcoming to take a chance on me and my work. I have done a lot of signings over the 14 years in this game and I am finding the smaller events to be the best ones to do. So enjoyable and will definitely do it again.

"So much work is done behind the scenes."
Bristol Book fair in the old M&S last year. It was my first one with you it was amazing fair and a busy day meet some new friends and we did well I think we sale 10 books. It was easy to get to by public transport.
Cardiff Book fair well what can you say it was amazing I can’t believe how many people came we was busy all day and again I think we sale 6 books but meet some amazing people who brought our books. Two days after I did sale two Ebooks on Amazon and they was people from Cardiff book fair. So all together I sale 8 books. I’m looking forward to the next Cardiff book fair.
The Bristol Summer Book fair was a bit disappointing we was quite all day we meet two lady’s who brought my books from Cardiff so I told them that my new book is out end of September. So they told me they will get a copy from me at Cardiff. I only sale two books at the end of the day. The venue was ok but I think it was too far out of Bristol centre.
The one thing I can say about all the Books Fairs I’ve done so far is the organisation have been amazing you do so much work beyond the scene and that what all the authors don’t see. So you should be so proud with yourself of what you have achieved.

I attended SugarPages book fair and I found it to be an amazing and excellent experience. It allowed me to share my work with other authors and gain some new readers and connections. The whole event was expertly organised and planned out in a structured and logical way! The team was on hand if any help was needed which was reassuring!
I am so grateful for this opportunity. I enjoyed the event so much I have booked in for more events with SugarPages. It has been a highlight in my writing career!

I can't fault Raven or Jas for their exceptional planning, including emails leading up to the event AND prodividng a fan for all authors attending the event. They absolutely pulled out all the stops to ensure attendees and authors were well cared for and well informed before and during the event.
SugarPages events have always been really worthwile for ,e in terms of 'cost vs profit' as table fees are incredibly reasonable and the events are really well organised.
